Lowfield Medical Centre

Flu Vaccination Clinics

Dated: 11-Sep-20

Entry to the flu clinic will be via GREEN DOOR (67 Lowfield Street)

5 people will be allowed entry to the flu clinic at their allocated time and be asked to queue 2 metres apart. Appropriate floor markings have been put in place to adhere to the social distancing measures.

Please help us to help you:
only arrive at your appointment time
wear a face covering
please follow 2m social distancing rule
do not bring any unnecessary bags, shopping etc
wear suitable clothing that allows your shoulder to be easily exposed

DO NOT attend if you have a new continuous cough, a temperature, loss of taste/smell or have been in contact with someone with COVID or have been asked to self-isolate.

For Patients aged 50-64 years who are not in the risk groups

*Please note that, if you are aged between 50 and 64 and not in a clinical at risk group, the earliest you will be offered a flu vaccination is November, providing there is sufficient vaccine. No appointments will be offered for people in this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first.

If you are aged 50 to 64 and are in a clinical ‘at risk’ group which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
